Speaker, writer and management accountant - Anthony has been
interested in environmental issues since he bought The
Ecologist's groundbreaking report Blueprint for
Survival in 1972.
He is NOT a member of any campaigning group. His views are well-informed but his views are his own. As an accountant he is concerned with the practical effects of climate change on business and society. He has just completed 18 months research with the publication of his book "Will climate change your life?" in which he aims to cut through the hype and the horror stories, taking a pragmatic view of what we can do and what we need to do.
What has become abundantly clear is that energy usage, security and supply will be the key issues for the immediate future, affecting not only the climate but our
fundamental economic survival.
After a business degree Anthony worked in a variety of industries in the UK and Europe and became a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
In 1998 he established a company which trained the staff of the major hotel chains across 18 European countries to be ready for the introduction of the euro. He is a fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, an Advanced
Toastmaster, a board member of the Professional Speakers Association and a member of the Environmental Research Group at the Institute of Actuaries.
